This adapter allows portable earthing devices to be hoisted up to heights beyond the reach of Elevated Work Platforms without having to apply metal carabiners to the clamp’s jaws.
When working at heights beyond the reach of elevated work platforms, there is a need to hoist equipment up to where it may be applied.
Metal carabiners are often used to bring up multiple clamps. Hooking these clamps to the carabiner through the jaw risks causing excessive wear to the inside jaw surfaces.
Connecting carabiner to the Line Clamp through the adapter instead, avoids this risk.
