Our customer wanted to make it easier to install a clamp when the operator cannot be positioned directly opposite the application point.
Hand in hand with our client, we conceived an operating pole top section with a flexible joint that could bend up to 30 degrees.
We had a lot of fun selecting and testing various materials and construction methods, before testing the new operating pole to ensure that it complied with IEC 60855 standards.
Since its introduction, it’s become one of our most popular options.
This time a customer wanted to avoid the consequences of moving an elevated work platform and accidentally pulling on the bonding system, with potentially damaging or even catastrophic results.
We got our heads together and came up with the idea of a breakaway device that disconnected the bonding or earthing cable if a maximum load was exceeded.
Again, our team enjoyed experimenting with different materials to ensure that the join only disconnected with a specified load, test it to ensure that it complied with IEC 61230 standards as well as help the customer to have it approved by their Electricity Network Company.
