Bus

A transmission line connects to an interface at the substation known as
a bus. For example, a substation’s 220 kV bus is the physical part of
the substation that connects the incoming and outgoing 220 kV circuits.
A substation may have a number of different voltage buses depending
on how many circuits terminate/originate there.
